The Tekamah Police Department is seeking donations and pledges toward our renovation project. If you, your organization or company would like to make a contribution or pledge, please contact Chief Dan Jacobs at 402-870-2256. Our goal is to raise $180,000 in community contributions in addition to the grant funding sources.

Just a reminder concerning residential parking. Vehicles are not permitted to left side park in the city. When a vehicle is parked on the city street, it must be parked facing the same direction as the traffic flow. Parking citations are issued to vehicles improperly parked against the flow of traffic.

It's that time a year again for clean up. Residents are reminded that we will begin enforcing the junk vehicle and debris ordinances begining April 1, 2015. Citations will be issued this year to residents that have received warnings in the past, but have failed to correct the defects.
